Concluding a network contract

A network contract gives you the opportunity to consume electricity. A network contract is necessary when buying or exchanging an apartment or a house or business premises. In the network contract, we set out the conditions and the network package for supplying electricity to your point of consumption. The easiest way to conclude and cancel the contract and change your price package is through self-service.

How is a network contract concluded?

  1. 1

Inform about your wish to conclude a contract

  2. 2

    Select a suitable network package

  3. 3

    Confirm the network contract

  4. 4

We will notify you when the contract has entered into force

  5. 5

You can conclude an electricity contract with a suitable electricity supplier.

How to conclude?

A network contract must be concluded no later than within 30 calendar days of the previous owner having submitted an application to terminate the network contract. Only one network contract per consumption point can be in force simultaneously.

The contract is signed

  • We will notify you by email or text message when the network contract takes effect.
  • The fee will be calculated once the contract has taken effect and based on readings that applied during the transfer of the contract.
  • You don't need to submit meter readings as the meters are remotely read.

What happens if I don't conclude a network contract?

You cannot consume electricity without a network contract. If no new network contract has been concluded within 30 days of the previous owner’s application for termination, we will discontinue the supply of electricity. Connection can be reactivated but for a charge.
